I know, I know — it’s been a minute since I last posted. Honestly, life has just been life-ing, but we move. I really missed you guys, and I just wanted to drop something simple and sweet today.
So today’s video is just a really short but meaningful ‘day in my life.’ Nothing too serious, nothing too fancy — just real, normal life… Nigerian edition. And today is actually a special one because it was filmed on the 6th of November, which is my mom’s birthday.
So first of all, happy birthday to my amazing mom. I love you so much, and I’m so grateful for your life. I actually surprised her with a little birthday cake, and even though it wasn’t anything extravagant, the smile on her face was everything. Sometimes it’s the small things that matter the most.
Anyway, after celebrating her in the morning, I decided to get myself together. So here I am, taking a shower, trying to look like a human being again. You know how it is — hot water running, me thinking about life, planning my day, all those random thoughts that always come during shower time.
Then I started getting dressed. I was picking an outfit, trying to keep it simple but still cute because I was heading out with my cousin later. You guys already know I can be so indecisive when it comes to choosing outfits, but we got there eventually.
After that, we stepped out, and of course I had to fix my nails because… yeah, they were giving ‘please rescue me.’ So we went to do that, just normal vibes, nothing too crazy — very much regular Nigerian lifestyle. I honestly enjoyed it because sometimes these simple errands can be the most relaxing part of the day.
So yeah, that’s basically it — a soft, chill day in my life on my mom’s birthday. Just appreciating family, taking care of myself, and enjoying the little moments.
