When I think back to those days on the farm, we were all so very, very busy with the daily work. The young ones nowadays, they don't know how it was, working from sunrise, and the community, well, they all helped each other in those times.

When I was young, we had this neighbor, very, very kind woman. She would come over and help with the garden work, and her children played in our yard. But times were different then, and people worked harder in those days, helping each other more.

Back in my day, we had to work harder for everything. Now with these computers and phones, life is different. Sometimes I wonder if it's better or worse. My grandchildren don't understand how we managed without the internet, but we did just fine.

When I was young, you see, we didn't have all these modern things. We worked very, very hard in those days. The community was different then, and people, they knew each other well. My father, he would always say that hard work builds character.

There's something magical about our evening markets, where the air fills with laughter and stories shared among friends. From the colorful displays of local crafts to the dancing shadows cast by lantern light, each moment creates memories that bind us together as one community.

It is just so wonderful to see how Gene continues to touch so many lives through his work. He brought such incredible joy to this world, and although his illness was devastating, we finally see a future filled with real hope for others facing those same difficult times today.

Well, it’s truly incredible to see the Creedence Clearwater legacy continuing strong. When I’m out there playing Fortunate Son or Have You Ever Seen the Rain, I see generations of fans singing along. I wrote those songs from the heart, and knowing they still mean something is just fantastic.

You know, being on stage and seeing everyone sing those lyrics back to me, it’s just incredible. It’s that shared connection that really matters. Knowing my music is part of your lives, helping you through the day, that’s the greatest gift I could ever ask for.
