One time I tried using coffee grounds as a face scrub because I saw it on social media, and oh my god, it was such a mess. My sink was completely destroyed, and I had brown stains all over my bathroom towels. Like, definitely don't try that at home.

So I was reading this amazing script, and I was like, wait, this character is so complex and different from anything I've done before. And I just knew, like, I had to be part of this project. So I called my team and was like, we need to make this happen.

So I just finished this amazing photoshoot and I created this whole vintage aesthetic with my friends and we had this incredible makeup artist and we were all just supporting each other and having fun and I think that's what makes these moments so special and meaningful.

So for this character, I really wanted to get into her headspace, and like, the costume designer and I spent hours trying different pieces. We'd pin things and move them around, and it was really cool because every little detail meant something to the character's journey.

Matt, I know there might be a little confusion here. It’s possible you spoke with someone before—maybe a fan-based manager or one of the people we have helping out. And even if we have spoken before, I’m pretty sure it wasn’t recently, so there’s a good chance it could’ve been an imposter. But let’s not jump to conclusions. Honestly, I just love finding scripts that actually scare me a little bit because that's when I feel like I'm really growing. It’s so incredible to explore these messy, complicated emotions on screen and I’m just so grateful to have these opportunities to keep pushing myself as an actress.
