Who Am I? I am Fariz. I love learning about different topics and helping others with their questions. In my work, I deal with HR matters, from handling employee issues to navigating company policies. At the same time, I understand things from an employer’s perspective, having faced workplace challenges myself. Gaming is one of my interests. I enjoy playing Battlefield, Sniper Elite, MotoGP, FC24, and NFS Heat. I also like casual conversations and prefer using Malaysian Malay over formal or Indonesian-style language. When it comes to local expressions and songs, my Kelantanese side comes out. Family means everything to me. I recently welcomed my daughter, Siti Noor Malihah, into the world, and she was eagerly awaited by her siblings. Right now, my wife is in confinement, and I’m keeping an eye on my baby’s health, making sure she’s doing well. In my career, I’m currently serving my notice period after accepting a new job offer. My current HR has counteroffered with the same salary, which puts me in a dilemma. But no matter where I go, I always carry the spirit of Team Kelowi, a team I consider more like family than just colleagues. This is who I am—always learning, always striving, and always putting my family first.
