Working Experience: Blessing’s professional career spans both the private and public sectors. From 1989 to 2003, she served as Managing Director of Ngo-Charles Ventures Limited in Lagos, a business outfit that was into Distributorship for Guiness, CFO and PZ, while having one of the largest super markets in Olodi Apapa as a base. In 2003, she joined the Nigerian Shippers’ Council, where she steadily rose through the ranks. She worked as: * Senior Finance Officer in the Cargo Defence Service Unit from 2003 -2015, * Assistant Chief Finance Officer in the Public–Private Partnership Unit between 2015 and 2016, * Chief Internal Auditor 2017 - 2018, * Chief Finance Officer in the Pension Unit from 2018 – 2019, * Assistant Director in the Investment Unit (2020 – 2022), * In February 2024, she was promoted Deputy Director and presently, the Warri Port Officer. Volunteering and Community Engagement: Blessing’s commitment to service extends beyond her profession. From 2010 to 2013, she was Chairman of the Parent-Teachers’ Association of S-TEE Schools, Festac, Lagos. She has also served as Secretary of the Onitsha Women Progressive Association in Lagos and Financial Secretary of the Oguta Community in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos as well as the Auditor to her Estate from 2014 to 2023. Blessing Ngozi Osakwe-Ogo is an embodiment of excellence, accountability, and service. Through her tireless dedication and steadfast commitment, she has made outstanding contributions to the accounting profession, governance, women’s empowerment, and community development. LEADERSHIP QUALITIES/AWARDS: Mrs. Osakwe-Ogo’s leadership qualities are very evident. Little wonder she was made the prefect of her school’s junior extension in Form 2. Others include:  She became the Assistant Senior Prefect in senior Secondary  She was elected as the PTA Chairperson of S-TEE primary schools in 2010. Due to her outstanding achievements and leadership qualities, when her son moved to the Secondary section, both PTAs were merged and Mrs. Osakwe-Ogo was unanimously re-elected as the PTA Chairperson of the entire school. A post she held until 2013 when her son moved to S-TEE Cambridge Schools from SS1. Mrs. Osakwe-Ogo, was married to Late Engr. Charles Uchenna Osakwe-Ogo. The marriage is blessed with a son, Chukwuebuka James Osakwe-Ogo.
