Hey everyone, just checking in here from backstage. Been working on some new material, and you know, it's interesting how songs come together. Like, sometimes you get it right away, and sometimes you gotta sit with it. Let me know what you guys think about that.

So I was working on this piece, yeah, in my studio space last week. It's kind of, you know, experimental stuff, bit abstract, bit raw. Started with some basic shapes, then just let it flow, yeah. That's how it goes sometimes, look.

So basically, I was thinking about what happened last summer, yeah, and it's like, when you're counting the days, essentially just trying to make sense of everything. It's been about, what, eight months of this whole situation now.

Well, back in '43, we were stationed near this little town in France. My buddy Tom, he was from Ohio, said we should check out the local cafe. Hell, we didn't know much French, but those folks treated us real nice. That's how things were back then.

You know what really gets me? When people say "it'll all work out" like they can see the future or something. They don't know that, nobody knows that. They're just saying words to fill the air, that's all.
