Long before self-help books, the Bible had already revealed your true purpose in life. You might think, *“Who cares?”* Well, I used to think that way too. Until I realized that the reason I kept facing so many struggles, the reason I felt this lingering emptiness and dissatisfaction, was because I didn’t even know why I existed. The world told me, *“Achieve this, and you’ll become somebody.”* So I worked hard to prove myself. But my identity kept shifting with my successes and failures. Then I discovered what the Bible says— Your purpose isn’t about *what* you do. It’s about *who* you are. Identity shapes action, not the other way around. But the world got it in reverse. God says, *“I’ve already given you an identity—now go live it out.”* So your purpose = your God-given identity. But what exactly is that identity? In the next episode, we’ll see the answer.
