Today, I am going to talk about environmental problems in my region. Currently, there are many environmental damages such as water pollution, garbage in streets and beaches, air pollution, deforestation, and the destruction of mangroves. In Jalisco, and especially in Cihuatlán, problems like water contamination, soil degradation, and poor waste management are very common. However, there is hope. The Ecology Department of the City Hall of Cihuatlán works to protect the environment. Also, the School of Marine Biology and local groups help protect nature, especially coastal areas and mangroves through reforestation and beach cleaning campaigns. My proposals are: First, people should stop throwing garbage in rivers and beaches. Second, schools should organize more campaigns. Third, more trees should be planted. Fourth, recycling should be mandatory. Finally, the government and citizens must work together to protect the planet. Thank you.
