A Call to the Sokoto State Government and Stakeholders Regarding PHC Samalu Wamakko On behalf of the people of Samalu Wamakko, I am making a heartfelt appeal to the Sokoto State Government, the Ministry of Health, and all relevant stakeholders concerning the Primary Health Care (PHC) Center in Samalu. This health center, established to serve the healthcare needs of our community, is now in a state of disrepair and dysfunction. Below are some of the major issues: 1. Medications have expired due to lack of use. 2. The building’s roof has deteriorated, leaving it vulnerable during the rainy season. 3. There are no doctors or medical personnel to attend to patients. 4. The trees within the premises have been cut down, worsening the condition of the environment. We earnestly request the government, as custodians of public welfare, to urgently intervene and rehabilitate this facility. We hope this matter will be treated as a priority to improve the lives of the people in our community. We also call on individuals, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other stakeholders to join hands in restoring the dignity of this health center. May God bless our efforts and grant prosperity to Sokoto State and Nigeria as a whole.
