Step 1: Check for Responsiveness & Call for Help
Tap and shout, "Are you okay?"
If no response, yell for someone to call 911 (or your local emergency number) and bring an AED (if available).
If alone, call 911 first, then get the AED.
Step 3: Turn On the AED
Open the case and power on the AED (some models turn on automatically when opened).
Follow the voice and visual prompts.
