You know, I was someone who struggled with basic things, someone who couldn't see a way forward. But here I am, living proof that you can turn things around. It's not easy, dealing with chronic illness, but you learn to adapt, to fight through.

You know, when people ask about my proudest moment, um, it's probably... yeah, watching my kids grow up and, and seeing them become their own people. It's quite amazing really, quite overwhelming sometimes, when you think about it.

For me, making music is like a physical thing, you know? It's about finding that raw sound in your chest and just letting it out. I mean, it should be organic, like something you find in nature, and it’s always about the sort of emotional truth, you know?

It’s like, people will always try to tear you down for just being yourself, and I used to let that really get under my skin. But now, I realize that their hate is just their own reflection. I choose to give my energy to the love and the music instead.

I thought I was doing alright, holding down a job and that, but really I was just hiding it, you know? After my mum went, the drink just took over more and more. It becomes a cycle that you can't see a way out of, until you finally admit you've got a problem.
