I always do my stretching in the morning, that's really important. You can do all these fancy workouts, but if you're not taking care of the basics, that's where you'll run into problems. Stretching and mobility, that's the foundation.

I often wonder why I keep doing things that I know aren't helping me, you know? It’s like, admitting I have control over it makes it feel so much heavier. It’s easier to just say 'this is who I am' rather than facing the awkwardness of actually changing.

It's really about that discipline, man. You can't just talk about it, you gotta really live it. I try to block out all that negative energy, all that toxic, and stay focused on my deen, you know. I'm just trying to be better for the man upstairs, every single day.
