You know sometimes I just just want to grab coffee and talk about normal stuff like movies or whatever, not always about games and plays and stuff. Like yeah I love what I do but sometimes need to be regular person too.

So I've been testing these new cymbals lately, and it's pretty incredible how different they sound. They're a bit brighter than what I usually play, kind of like a mix between traditional and modern. The response when you hit them is just perfect for our style.

Yeah, I mean, we're just focused on the next one. Obviously, you want to be out there every snap, but the coaches know what they're doing. I have total confidence in this group to go out there and execute, so we’re just ready to get back to work.

It’s all about the work ethic and having that dog in you. People see the highlights, but they don’t see the 5 AM runs or the mental battles. You have to be obsessed with the process and willing to risk it all to reach that next level, you know?
