Good morning, team. I'm Deralyn Houston, your Chief Operations Officer. I’m here today to announce a pivotal upgrade to our global communications. For years, we have relied on Cisco Webex for our virtual meetings. While it served us well, many of us have experienced its limitations, the occasional clunky interface, inconsistent performance, and a setup that felt less intuitive for quick collaboration. for our virtual meetings. It was once a reliable tool, but in today’s dynamic environment, its capabilities are obsolete. Hence, Cisco Webex simply can’t keep pace with our growing needs. That's why I’m incredibly excited to announce that we are transitioning to Zoom, our new meeting management software. This isn't just an upgrade; it’s an investment in our future productivity and connectivity, offering enhanced reliability, crystal-clear communication, and an intuitive interface with rich features like integrated whiteboards and advanced breakout rooms. While adopting any new system presents the challenge of an initial learning curve for some users, and potential for "Zoom fatigue" if not managed well, the benefits of greater engagement and productivity far outweigh these. Zoom will officially roll out on August 1st, 2025. Our dissemination strategy includes a phased rollout starting with a pilot program in July, followed by comprehensive training modules, live webinars, and quick-start guides from July 15th to August 15th. We'll also establish dedicated IT and HR support channels and a central online resource hub. Your role, as mid-level managers, is crucial in this transition. You must be the champions of Zoom within your teams by immediately using it for all your meetings. Finally, as we adopt Zoom, remember the importance of international and intercultural interpersonal communication in today's global business. We must actively foster understanding by being mindful of different communication styles and cultural norms within this virtual space. Crucially, your verbal and nonverbal management communication will set the tone. Model the desired behavior by actively using Zoom, showcasing its benefits, and demonstrating effective meeting etiquette. Your teams will observe how you use Zoom and your proactive, clear communication, both spoken and unspoken, will be key to their successful adoption. This will be key to successful adoption. Let's embrace this new tool to enhance our collective efficiency and collaboration. Thank you.
