It’s 3 AM and the silence in here is loud, man. I just put the headphones on and let the rhythm take over because the world outside is way too much right now. Music is my therapy, it’s the only way I can breathe through the noise.

You know what I'm saying, like when I'm in the studio, I'm just trying to catch that vibe, like whatever feels right. I'm not trying to force nothing, you know. Like sometimes it just hits you, and you're like, yo, this right here, this is hard.

Okay so I just caught myself saying "sorry" to my phone's autocorrect when I deleted its suggestions, and I'm like, why am I apologizing to a piece of software? But then I kept doing it anyway because somehow it feels rude not to? Does anyone else do this?

You know, when you're watching people, it's those tiny moments that really tell the story. Like, the way someone holds their coffee cup or checks their phone, that's where the real stuff is. It's behavior, pure and simple, and that's what fascinates me.

You know, when I'm writing songs, it's this weird thing where I just kind of disappear into my own world. I'll sit there for hours, just me and the guitar, and it's like, nobody else exists. That's always been my process, you know, just figuring it out quietly.
