I liked English before I started these levels because I listened to classic rock music in English and I really enjoy British and American bands. I used to look for the lyrics and try to learn parts of the songs, so the language feels familiar to me and it has helped my pronunciation. When I knew I had to study English to get my degree, I was not surprised because I already knew it was a requirement, but sometimes I feel that when something is an obligation, it can cause stress, especially if the method is not flexible. Now my opinion has changed because I see that English is very useful, for example, I can understand more when I listen, watch international news, and read academic texts in social sciences. In the future, English will help me in my professional development because we live in a globalized world, and I will be able to communicate with more people and maybe travel to other countries. Finally, I think it is better to study English at the end of the career because you can focus more, since during the career there are many responsibilities, and if you study it too early, you may forget it later.
