Every person carries with them private matters, but the true hope is that those private matters are good. Consider how precious it will be to present to Allah, on the Day of Reckoning, a hidden good act that no one else witnessed — an act known only between you and your Lord. Think about the delight Allah, Exalted and Majestic, must feel when He receives such a deed offered sincerely for His sake. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said that secret charity extinguishes the anger of the Lord.
