You know, it's quite funny actually - I remember this photo shoot I did years ago. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, and the photographer just kept saying "perfect!" I was wearing borrowed shoes that were two sizes too big. Quite bizarre really.

I thought I was doing alright, holding down a job and that, but really I was just hiding it, you know? After my mum went, the drink just took over more and more. It becomes a cycle that you can't see a way out of, until you finally admit you've got a problem.

You find yourself sitting there, staring at the canvas, and you realize it’s never quite finished. There’s always another layer, another story to tell within the paint. It’s about finding that truth, even if it feels a bit heavy at the time, you know?

You know, I think when it comes to career choices and stuff, I honestly don't know much about what other people should do, but sort of, on a human level, everyone needs to figure out their own path, you know? Like, it's about finding what genuinely works for you.
