You know, it's like when people ask about songwriting, I mean, growing up in Alabama, those memories just kind of come natural. It's funny how, you know, one truck ride with your grandpa can turn into a whole song that people relate to.

You know, this new song I'm working on, it really takes me back to those summer nights on my grandma's porch. There's something about that steel guitar that just hits different, and I wanted to capture that feeling, that real country soul.

My grandpa's old pickup truck was where I first started writing songs. Just sitting there in the driveway, scratching lyrics on notebook paper. Didn't have fancy recording equipment or nothing, just me and an old guitar trying to tell stories about life.

Yeah, being out on the road gives me a lot of time to think about those old dirt roads back in Alabama. I'll usually sit on the bus, fix me a drink, and try to turn those messy voice memos into something real that people can actually connect with.

You know, when I'm writing songs, I really try to pull from real experiences and things that mean something to me. Getting out there on stage and seeing people connect with those stories, that's what makes country music special to me.

You know, this new song I wrote really comes from the heart. It's about growing up in my hometown, watching my mama sing in church, and all those little moments that kind of shape who you become as an artist. That's what country music is all about.

You know, most of my songs start out as just a simple idea while I’m back home in Alabama. I’ll grab my guitar, fix a drink, and just see what sticks. If it feels real to me, I figure it’ll probably mean something to y'all too.
