So I went down to the gas station yesterday to get me some cigarettes and this lady in front of me started fussin about the price of everything. Told the cashier it ain't right and all that. I'm just standin there thinkin people sure do complain a lot these days.

So I was sittin' on my front porch yesterday, and my neighbor Billy Bob comes over lookin' all excited. Says to me, "You heard about ol' Jimmy's fishin' trip?" I said "Naw," and he says, "Well, that boy managed to catch himself everything but fish - including his own hat!"

Listen here, y'all. I ain't afraid to tell you straight up - being a redneck means standing for what's right. Yesterday, some city folk were making fun of our way of life, and let me tell you something - we're proud of who we are, and we ain't changing for nobody.

Listen, so I'm sitting here at my desk today, right, and this crazy thing happened where like three different suppliers called me all at once about these orders, and I'm just trying to handle all this stuff, and my phone keeps blowing up, and honestly y'all, I can't even deal.

Listen here, y'all wanna know about summer cookouts down South? First thing, ain't nobody usin' gas grills - that's just fancy outdoor stoves. Real Southern folk got themselves a smoker, and they start cookin' 'fore the sun even thinks about wakin' up.

So I'm standing there at the gas station right and this fella comes up to me all worked up about how I parked my truck. I mean ain't nothing wrong with how I parked it but this person just kept going on and on about their feelings getting hurt.

Listen up, America. I know times are tough right now, all right, but I've seen this nation pull together before. Y'all remember what I always say - when one state hurts, we all hurt. God didn't give us these challenges without giving us the strength to overcome them together.

So we're out here on the road, just me and the guitar, kind of stripped everything back to basics. No fancy production, just raw country music the way it should be. That's what these shows are all about, connecting with the fans like we did in the beginning.
