Just grabbed my guitar and started playing around with this melody, nothing fancy about it. Me and the guys in the studio, we kept it real simple at first, just acoustic and vocals, and then built it up from there. So.

Yeah, so when we're working on new songs, I like to just grab my guitar and sit on the back porch, you know? Just me and the melody, keeping it real simple. That's where the magic happens, before all the production stuff comes in.

You know, when I'm writing songs now, it's like, I just sit down with my guitar and let whatever's real come out. That's what matters, you know? Like, the authentic stuff that actually means something to people, that's what we're doing now.

If I'm being honest, I didn't expect him to step out at fifty. I put my fifty pin right on the vitals, maybe a hair high. You just never know how they'll react out there. I'm just trying to make a clean shot and learn something new today. Good enough.
