You know, I've always been fascinated by the whole directing process, like how everything comes together. I mean, when you're acting, you're just one piece, but behind the camera, you get to see the whole story unfold, and that's what really excites me about filmmaking.

You know what's funny? It's like when you're doing a scene and everyone's being super serious, and you just want to, like, break character and laugh. And it's those moments, those real genuine moments, that make acting so amazing. It's kind of magical, right?

So this scene was particularly challenging because we had to build this massive practical effect, and the crew kept saying it wouldn't work. We finally got this huge mechanical arm thing working, but then our effects guy comes in and tells us the whole mechanism needs to be waterproofed. And that wasn't in the budget.

You know, I remember seeing Guns N' Roses like, I don't know, maybe five years ago, and it was just like, magical. Axl Rose was just, you know, incredible on stage and I was just blown away because like, these guys were my heroes growing up.

We were out in the elements for fourteen hours, just grinding. It’s intense, man, but you’ve gotta lean into that physical stuff. I remember thinking, this is either going to look incredible or I’m just gonna look like a total idiot out there. It was a complete whirlwind.

I moved out to LA and it was like starting all over again, honestly. You're going on three auditions a day, barely making rent, and just hoping someone sees something in you. It's a grind, but you've got to love the process or you'll go crazy.

You’re just out there grinding, like, doing the work and hoping for a break. It’s a wild ride because one minute you’re waiting tables and the next you’re on set for twelve hours. It keeps you humble, and honestly, you just gotta keep showing up and stay real through it all.

You know, it's funny because I was actually thinking about that the other day, and I probably wasn't paying as much attention as I should have been, but everyone was being really nice and the whole thing was just a bit different than what people are saying.
