Hey y'all, I was just thinking about this song I wrote last week. It's funny how inspiration hits you - I was sitting on my back porch with my guitar, watching my kids play, and the melody just came to me. That's how country music works, right?

You know, growing up in a baseball family, music was always playing in our house too. My dad would come home from games, and we'd sit on the porch, guitar in hand, singing country songs. Those memories really shaped who I am today.

You know, I've always loved traditional country music, and, and that's what I try to do. When I'm in the studio, I just want to make music that honors those old songs and those great singers that came before us.

Y'all, I was going through some old photos from my early days performing, and I found this amazing picture with Keith Whitley from my first time at the Grand Ole Opry. It's really special to me because he was such an influence on my style of singing.

You know, performing at these country festivals is just, it's just amazing. The way the fans come together, and the energy they bring, it's pretty incredible. And working with these other artists, they're just, they're so talented and we all just have a great time up there.
