You know, when I'm out there performing, it's just real, it's just me having a good time with my fans. I'm not trying to be somebody else or put on some big show. When you're genuine and having fun, that's when the magic happens, and that's what country music is all about.

You know, performing at these country festivals is just, it's pretty amazing when you think about it. The fans, they're out there giving it their all, and I tell you what, working with these young artists coming up, it's just so, so special to see their energy and passion.

You know, I was out fishing the other day, and like, I'm not really sure what kind of fish these were, I mean, I'm pretty basic when it comes to all that stuff. But man, it was just amazing being out there, even though I'm totally elementary about fishing.

Man, you know, I was hanging out with Bobby J and Mike R the other day, and they come running up to me with this awesome new video game, you know, and we just spent the whole afternoon playing it at Bobby's house.

You know, when I'm out fishing, like, I'm still learning about all these different types of bass and stuff. I mean, some people know every single species, but I'm just out there trying to figure it out, you know what I'm saying?
