Carrie (Prettygirl2005)
от MS123 LolYouTube has always been a part of my life. When it comes to uploading or watching channels, never get tired of the website. But that was before I came across a YouTube channel I found really strange...
One day, after an exhausting day of school, I decided to hop on my personal laptop and watch some YouTube to pass the time and to also help entertain me after the day I had. I was randomly scrolling on YouTube's FYP (For You Page) trying to find a video to watch, but there was either nothing I was interested in or something I've already seen before. After hours and hours of scrolling I had finally come across a video that had caught my eye - "computer day". The video's thumbnail shown an image of an cartoon girl with blonde puffy hair, and beautiful sky blue eyes, while wearing a pink tank top and black shorts. It also looked like she was typing on a keyboard. The name of the channel that uploaded the video was "prettygirl2005". Its profile picture was the default YouTube profile picture with it being just the letter P with a pink background. I was interested on what the video would be, so I clicked on it.
“computer day”
The video played an pretty low quality animation made in Adobe Flash where it started to show the same cartoon girl on the thumbnail typing on a keyboard while giggling. The background showed a realistic photo of a pink bedroom with a pretty crappy midi file version of the Hello Kitty's Paradise theme playing in the background. That made me thinking that this was some sort of cute animation video someone made for fun. After a few seconds pass, The scene switches to footage of the cartoon girl's computer screen with her webcam on as they enter some sort of online chat room and begin talking to a random user. It then shows the user typing "Hi" to the cartoon girl and they reply with "Hi!!!' back.
It then shows the user then typing "M 15", indicating that the random user is a 15-year-old male. The cartoon girl replies back saying "F 16", also indicating that she is 16 years old, with the user then typing "Nice to meet you, My name's Chad", which is what I'll be calling the user for now on. The cartoon girl replied with "My names Carrie", which I will also be calling the cartoon girl in the video. Chad then sent a photo of a young male in the chat and says "This is me btw" with Carrie replying "Aww! You're so cute! Let me send you what I look like now!" Chad instantly replies back saying "Heh, No need, I already know what you look like :)" with the webcam showing Carrie get little nervous. I was starting to get a little weirded out by what I just saw, not expecting a cute flash animation to get a little unsettling, but I had to keep watching to see what else happens.
Carrie replies back saying "Umm... What do you mean?", with Chad replying back saying "I've know A LOT about you Carrie..." Chad then started to adding more to it; "What you look like, What you post online, What you do in your free time, I just can't get enough of you". Carrie's webcam now shows her face starting to get even more nervous as the music begins to slowly pitch and slow down and the screen slowly turns dark. She then replies back saying "You're really starting to scare me... Please stop". Chad then replied "I just wish I could see you in real life and love you", followed by him uploading a photo of a realistic house and saying "Oh wait, why don't I meet you right now". Carrie's webcam then shows her expression change to complete horror with sweat running down her face. She typed "HOW DID YOU FIND WHERE I LIVE? LEAVE ME ALONE!" as tears slowly start to form from her eyes. I was really starting to get really uncomfortable and scared with what I was seeing, but I just couldn't stop watching. Chad then replies with "I can't wait to see you!:)" Seconds later, a very loud bang sound effect plays in the background, indicating that someone had kicked down Carrie's door, with her quickly looking to see where the noise came from. She started to scream. but then she quickly gets cut off.
A few seconds pass, and the scene switches from a flash animation to a real life recording of someone attacking and kidnapping a young girl while they were on their computer at night. The recording, however, was in very low quality that it was really hard to pick up what was being shown, but I could hear the sound of the girl screaming while an older male was grunting and making a lot of noise, sounding like they were trying to attack and kidnap her. A few seconds pass and the video glitches and comes to an end. I was in complete shock of what I just saw and had no idea why someone would make something look so cute and innocent but have a dark side to it. I then decided to investigate this channel and see what else I could find. I first checked the video's description, with it reading "he sure couldn't wait to see me in real life", indicating that the person who made this channel and account is most likely Carrie. I then finally decided to click on the account and see what else there was for me to see. And surely, there was…
“hss aplk bw”
The next video I decided to check out was a video titled “hss aplk bw”, which translated to “all tied up”.
The video played low quality recorded footage of a young teenage woman in a dark area, which looked like a basement of some sort, with a singular light shining on her. She was tied up in a chair with a bag on their head, twitching very quickly. In the background I could hear distorted noises which sounded like static or random glitch noises with a muffled crying noise overlaid. At one point, I also heard a part of the song Yankee-Doodle over the glitchy noises.
Images would also flash on screen with an inverted filter on them. One that was shown was an image of some sort of wires or cords being sorted out or laid out in some type of way that flashed on the screen for almost the entire video. Another image was of one where it was hands tied up in rope, and one where it shown an image of a missing poster for a young teenage girl named “Chelsea Sarah Wakowski”.
With this information that was just given to me, I came to the conclusion that these videos are about the kidnapping of Chelsea, and that Carrie is a representation of her.
The videos description read “no matter how hard i moved my little body, i couldn’t escape”.
I tried to record the video, but I was only able to record the audio, which I had implemented below.
“Mike India Sierra Sierra India November Golf”
The next video that was uploaded by the channel was one titled “Mike India Sierra Sierra India November Golf”.
The video was a 45 second-long image of the same missing poster for “Chelsea Sarah Wakowski” I saw in the last video. In the background, I could hear sounds of low pitched slowed down static while also hearing sounds of a radio or walkie-talkie play.
For a couple of seconds, Chelsea’s face on the missing poster would sometimes get replaced by Carrie, confirming that Chelsea is portrayed as Carrie in these videos.
The video's description read “ MISSING 4-13-2005”, giving me a date on when Chelsea was kidnapped. I was really starting to wonder if anyone ever did help try and save Chelsea at all or if she's even OK.
“carrie falling over gif”
The next video was titled “carrie falling over gif”

Screenshot of the video "carrie falling over gif"
The video played a 36 second low quality looping gif of Carrie accidentally tripping over her shoelace and falling over, then looking at the camera and smiling, with the street theme from Pet Party playing.
After a couple seconds pass, an image of Chelsea’s face stretched out pops up on screen and cuts off the Gif and music. This face shows on screen for 20 seconds and then the video comes to an end.
The video’s description this time reads “a gif of carrie accidentally falling over, silly girl! someone better HELP HER get up!”.
"school crush"
The next video the channel had uploaded was called “school crush”, and the thumbnail this time showed a new character I’ve never seen before. They were a girl who had brown hair in a pigtail, brown eyes with glasses, and a Backstreet Boys shirt with blue sweatpants.
The video played another low quality animation made in Adobe Flash, where it shown the same exact girl from the thumbnail walking to school while the kitchen music from Cooking Mama 4 played to set the mood. She gets to class and sits down, and the camera pins over to the boy she has a crush on. The girl looks at the boy for a couple of seconds, smiling to herself about how cute she found the boy, and then gets out a piece of of paper and pencil and starts writing down something.
A few seconds pass and the school bell rings. The girl then walks over to the boy and hands him the piece of paper. On it, it read “Do you want to be a couple?” The camera then pans to the boy as he answers "no", much to the girl's shock. The camera pans back at the girl as she gets stressed and upset. Her eyes get smaller and her smile slowly changes to a frown as the music slows and pitches down.
The scene then cuts to a house at night, and then switches to a bedroom where the boy sleeping, The girl then slowly rises up from the bed and starts stabbing and cutting the boy with a knife.
After a couple of seconds, the scene switches to a realistic photo of a teenage boy on the floor with blood coming out of multiple open cuts. There is also a black box censoring some of the cuts, with the largest censored being on his chest and his face, indicating that those were one of the biggest parts of him that had been stabbed or cut.
Text then slowly comes up about a police report of the dead body where it read “A body of a 15 year old teenage male was just found dead today after he was brutally stabbed to death in his sleep. The police found him with multiple open wounds, open cuts, and much more. The killer was identified as the 16-year-old Abigail Michael Hernandez. Camera footage shows that she snuck into the boy's house at night, went up into his room and had violently stabbed and attacked him with a kitchen knife while he was asleep. Police have taken Abigail into custody until further notice.” The video slowly comes to an end.
The videos description read “some stories don’t always have happy endings”.
“goodbye message”
The final video I will be talking about is called “goodbye message”. It is almost a minute and a half long video, which is the longest video the channel has uploaded.
The videos plays an audio message from Chelsea herself, where she explains her full story on this channel and what the post were all about. The following text is quoted from the video and from Chelsea:
“Hello, This is Chelsea Sarah Wakowski, or better known online as prettygirl2005. I wanted to make this final video explaining all the posts I’ve made and what the hell they are all about, so let me explain. In 2005, when I was 16, I found this website where you can chat to random people online, kinda like Omegle or some shit like that. But anyways, I met a person there by the username of tonyboy1342, who pretended to be a 15 year old boy, and we chatted together for about two to three months. And one day he had told me that he had found me really cute and wanted to meet up at my local park and have a little date together. I, of course, said yes because I found that really sweet of him, but what I didn’t know is that... that would be the biggest mistake of my life.
"I obviously went and waited for him for a couple of minutes, but after a few minutes had passed, an old man who looked to be in his 60’s used chloroform on me to knock me out and put me in the back of his car. I then woke up in a basement tied up. I was treated very terribly; being abused, hit a lot, just treated like a human punching bag at that point. Eventually, almost a month later, the police finally found me and saved me. And for the old man, he was thankfully put to jail.
"As for this channel and the videos, I had made this channel to tell people about my backstory, when I was kidnapped and show basically what I saw and experienced, but to also warn people about how disgusting the world can actually be to someone like me, and with me usually editing and animating these videos, which yes by the way, I know how to draw. As for the other video, titled "school crush", which is also based around a true story is about the time my friend who's FUCKING insane had brutally attacked her crush because they had rejected her. As for me, ever since I was kidnapped I have been self-harming myself. I’ve haven't been able to get over what I’ve experienced and seen back then, and it's really getting to me. I just can't take it anymore. The only way I know how to stop the disgusting memories is by ending myself, and... I think it might just work. Matter of fact... let’s test it out right now…”
Chelsea sadly took her own life by shooting herself in the head, as heard by gun shot shortly cut off by the video ending.
I had recorded the video's audio again, which, once again, is below.
I tried googling if I could find anything about Chelsea to see if I could find anything about her kidnapping, like reports or anything about her suicide, but I barely any results.
After watching and checking out this channel, I think I've learned to always keep myself safe and be cautious of people online, or else I could end up just like Chelsea.
