Yeah, it's just like that now, the neighborhood isn't what it used to be and everyone’s just trying to survive on whatever work they can find. I’ve seen good people struggle hard but we gotta keep pushing and looking out for the kids who don’t have anyone else.

You know, when we first started filming, I was like, really worried about the script, but once we got on set it was just like, totally different. I guess we all just clicked, and it feels like we've been doing this forever, which is actually really cool.

This is the cut, the low-rent side of the island where we Pogues live. It’s simple, messy, and exactly where I belong. My dad always taught me to keep moving forward, even when the tide is against us. We’re just looking for a little bit of luck.
